Downloading & Installing Tips
These are common best practices when installing or uninstalling EFTP

Keep Copies of old installation files
In case you ever need to revert back to an earlier version, it is recommended to download the new setup program to a new folder, and name the folder the same as the version number. This will allow you to be able to install an older version should you encounter new problems with the current version.
Installing older versions
The Wise ® installer will not overwrite files that are newer, so if you wish to install an older version, you will have to uninstall the current version. Uninstalling does not remove user setup information or configuration, so you should not lose any settings.
Installing to removable device
You can install EFTP to any form of device, including USB "Memory Sticks" or Virtual drives that are encrypted, like Bestcrypt ® or Drivecrypt ®. EFTP does not use the registry for operation, so this program can run from any location, whether it has been installed or just plainly copied there.
Updating files that are in use
EFTP will not require you to reboot, however if you have either the server or client open, then the installation will install the files to a temporary location, and replace the in-use files the next time you start your computer. It is best to close your server and/or client before performing the upgrade.
